Good bye to another Illahee kid who grew up with more lively friends in the neighborhood than most. We remember him as friendly and kind hearted who worked hard to be successful.

A fun afternoon...
On August 11, 2025, the combined East-West High School classes of 1957 hosted the classes of 1956 and 1958 for a Get Together at McCloud's Grill House on Wheaton Way in Bremerton, WA.
The food was good and the renewed friendships even better.

Bruce Turbitt
October 18, 2024
Bruce was a top scholar and played clarinet in the band and orchestra. We extend condolences to his daughter Sharlene and family.

Ruth grew up in the Manette neighborhood of Bremerton and never strayed far from it--due to her dedication to the history of the events and people who lived and worked locally, she founded the Manette History Club. She combined her talents as a business woman, certified appraiser and local historian to own/operate several shops in Keyport and East Bremerton area.
